Here are some messages we have recieved enjoy!

Hi ..l found your site to be so interesting. This is a photo of my fabulous horse Kody who is son of wapspotted. He is such an interesting combination as the previous owner bred him to his lovely percheron mare ...hoping for a spotted horse ..he came out Dark Bay !!! Hie combination of breeding worked out beautifully as he has a calm disposition but forward .. the neck of wapspotted and as seen a lovely face he is presently 16 3 hands at the age of 6. He has done wonderfully in the dressage shows and is pleasure to hack out. The nicest horse I've owned. XXXXX

Hi, My name is XXXXXX and I am so happy that Teddy is back. I live Alaska and have a son of Teddy's. His name is X-Static and he is still a stallion. Here is a picture of him. He stands 16 hds. He only has one baby on the ground. Not too many horse owners here that are interested in him which is so sad. He is truly a wonderful boy.

So happy Teddy is back

Sincerely XXXXXXX

Tim,
Thank you for your response. Wembley just turned 5 on March 6th and is very much a horse of a different color. Last year I saw some white hairs coming through on her rump and assumed that she would start roaning, which wouldn't suprise me as her dam was a roan, but as she is shedding out this year the white is gone?? Not sure what's going on there but she is only 5 and anything could happen. The lady who owns the farm where she is boarded has a gelding out of Wap Spotted who is a very dark bay, in fact he is almost black. Mosby is a year older than Wembley and over the past two years has begun to pop out some white hairs on his butt and muzzle. It doesn't matter to me what color she is as I love her too much to care.
You are quite welcome to post her picture on your site as I am a proud mom. My immediate plans are to begin her show career this summer at some local schooling shows with the intent of moving up to the rated stuff next year, if she can learn to settle in at the shows. I'm hoping her unique coloring and Wap lineage will help us stand out in a good way. Wap babies around here have been pretty successful on the show circut.Good luck with your breeding program and with your future .

"Wap" babies...they are truly exquisite!

Sincerely, XXXXXX

Hello Tim,

This is XXXXXX, owner of Wapuzzan, from Rugby Creek Farm. I wondered if you could maybe help me locate Cheri Moats?? I know she used to own Wap Spotted and I can't find her current phone number as her old website is not still up and running. I am trying to speak with her about a horse she used to or maybe still does own. I would greatly appreciate any information about how to get in contact with her! Congrats on your work, the new site is nice and I wish you all the luck with Wap Spotted!!

Take Care, XXXXXX

Dear McCoy Farms

I recently saw your website on the internet. I just sold a leopard daughter of Wap Spotted before Christmas. I had planned on keeping her but couldn't afford her. I had been working out a Harris Farms thoroughbreds in Sanger for the past year and a half and couldn't believe that Wap Spotted will now be so close. I grew up with horses and had three black leopards with me but had to sell them. I now live and work in Fresno and would love to come and look at him some time if
you guys wouldn't mind. He has been one of my favorites for a very long time. Just wanted to let you know I'm a big fan of him. Thanks and I'll talk to you later.

Sincerely XXXXXX

Hi, I am an artist and I live near Hanover Pennsylvania. A few years ago I got in contact with Cheri Moats and asked her if I could photograph Wap Spotted and her other horses, she agreed. I only did 2 drawings but still plan to do more. I lost touch with Cheri but still followed Teddy on the web. I found he has been sold to you. The reason I’m writing is that my husband’s family lives in Porterville and we visit regularly. I was wondering if you have visitors at your farm and if I could stop by when we are in California.

 Thanks, XXXXXX

Tim and Lonnie,

I have always been a big fan of Wap Spotted and the beautiful foals that he has produced, and wished that I could own one. We are a small time, 4-H family that enjoys camp/trail riding for days at a time. I have always broke my youngsters and keep them in the family. I have had appaloosas for years. To make a long story short, I have one 22 year old appaloosa mare that is in great shape. She actually comes from same line as Wap Spotted. I will send you the link to her pedigree. I know the risks involved to breeding an aged mare, but I just hate to let her genetics go. I see that you mentioned a reduced rate for breeding, and I only have the one mare, so I could not substitute another. Please send me an approximate price of shipped semen, collection, and all fees that may apply. Im so serious. Here is photo of our mare, "Candy." (Pandys Bay Miss)

Thanks so much for the update on this fine stallion!

Tim, this is wonderful news...now too bad we can "pick" the sex of the foal!!! if I could get a filly like bear was I would breed ALL my mares to Teddy!!! we gelded bear and now he is living in snob hill in the Hampton...lucky horse! so far we have a chestnut snowcap and a stunning near leopard filly, I will attach the pics, this way you can promote his "get" as making some fine animals...the colt is for sale but not the filly, I sold bucket head and promised my hubby he could keep a girl, he is still mad at me for selling him....TOO BIG....we are naming the filly Hidden Hill's M'a Min, that is Nez Perce for "appaloosa horse"...we plan to show her and one of my boarders wants to do the Devon circuit with her , I don't know if you've ever heard of it...hunter jumper, three day eventers...this will promote the versatility of the WAP horses....look for her in the AJ next spring when the new show season starts....I am not breeding any more this year...too late but I will hook up with you come feb! all my best, and give ted a kiss from me even though he tried to bite me...lol! gotta love those stallions! XXXXXX

I’m so happy to hear he has a good home ! he is a good boy. i dont know if you have found this - but they ALL paw - you know - while feeding and while standing etc. my mare wapsicle ( poppy ) ....has pawed since i bought her at 6 months old - i have tried it all - including hobbling - and when she was hobbled , then her head moved !! they have such personality - he stamps that on them all ! i saw some nice foals on your website. i hope that you can get to the point that they were years ago - when they brought "big " money. there are several that still show the hunter shows around here- right up to the A shows.....best of luck. keep in touch.
